A step-by-step guide
Once you have signed up to the site you can view and message self-employed carers. Type in the postcode for where the care is required, select hourly/live-in or overnight care and search for suitable carers. We then recommend that you message and meet with your chosen carer(s).
Once you have agreed responsibilities and terms, your self-employed carer will send you a service agreement through the platform for your approval. If all is in order you will need to approve the service agreement by clicking on the "start service agreement" button. The button will go green and your carer has been approved.
Then check the care schedule times, dates and fees are also in order, you will then need to click on the “Authorise” button to arrange payment. We use Stripe as a very secure third party payment mechanism. Their login box appears asking for your credit card details. Please complete and then your payment is held securely in a third party account and will only be released to the carer after the weekly care is completed.
If your care is ongoing, your carer will send you your weekly care shift invoice for approval. Click on the “Authorise” button to approve each week’s payment.
