As the summer holidays come to a close in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, the Scots are already into the third week of the new school year, we bring you news from Curamcare.
Stats first: There are now over 100 approved care workers live on the site in locations across the country from Fort William to Plymouth, with another 300+ signed up and progressing through the interview and registration process.

Our first care worker (N) to transact with a client (in June) in Suffolk has increased his client base from one to three clients in just four weeks and is getting paid £15 an hour. He said to us
" I found Curamcare to be supportive, helpful and professional in providing the bridge between those needing care and their carers. "
He has also signed up his daughter-in-law (another care worker) to Curamcare to act as his "buddy" whenever he needs cover. We are delighted for N as this is exactly how we envisaged our platform working.
Next week sees the start of a significant increase in marketing to potential clients. We aim to keep all the care workers on Curamcare very busy this autumn.
We have developed a jobs board, not only can clients search for carers, they can put a simple description of their requirements up on the site which is circulated around the relevant care workers in that area. An example being:
